Blindspot
A puzzle game about security cameras. Each level is a dark floor plan. Place cameras, light up every corner, and use as few as you can.

Where it came from
Blindspot began as an idea for a game jam. Life got in the way before I could submit it, but I liked the idea too much to let it go.
I spent the following week fully focused on it, and turned the jam version into a complete game: 17 chapters, 170 levels and five kinds of camera. It's a game I'm very proud of.
How to play
Every level is a dark floor plan. Drag cameras onto it and everything they can see lights up. Cover the whole room with as few cameras as you can, and match par for three stars.
Place cameras
Drag a camera from the tray onto the floor. Everything it can see lights up. Anything left dark is a blindspot.
Cover the room
Light up every part of the floor to clear the level. The bar at the top shows how much is covered.
Beat par
Each level has a par, the fewest cameras it can be done with. Match it for three stars.
Aim and adjust
Drag a camera's yellow handle to aim it, or tap a selected camera to turn it. Drag a camera off the map to take it back.
Five kinds of camera
Each one sees the room differently, and later levels give you a mix.
Fisheye
Sees all the way round, right up to the walls.
Turret
A 90 degree wedge that reaches all the way to the wall.
Panorama
Half a circle of view.
Dual lens
Two 60 degree heads, each aimed on its own.
Focal
A narrow 45 degree slice, but there are usually plenty.
Things that get in the way
Glass counters
Cameras see straight over them, but you can't fit one on top.
Striped floor
It still needs watching, but no camera can go there.
Fitted cameras
Grey cameras are already in place. They help, but they can't be moved.
Challenge levels
They start in the dark, and every drop and turn counts as a move.
17 chapters, 170 levels
From a corner shop to a museum in the dark. Each chapter opens once you clear the last level of the one before, and the final 20 levels are challenge levels.

Questions
Is Blindspot free?
Yes. It's free to play in your browser, with no account, no adverts and nothing to buy.
Does it work on a phone or tablet?
Yes. Blindspot works with touch as well as a mouse and keyboard, and fits any screen. On a phone or tablet it opens on its own page so it can use the whole screen. Use your browser's back button to come back here.
Is my progress saved?
Yes, in this browser on this device. Your stars and settings are kept in the browser's own storage and never sent anywhere. They don't move between devices, and clearing this site's data in your browser starts you from scratch.
What does par mean?
Par is the fewest cameras a level can be cleared with. Match it for three stars. On challenge levels every drop and turn counts as a move, and three stars means getting every camera right first time.
What is it made with?
Blindspot is made in Godot 4.6 and exported for the web. It runs in your browser using WebAssembly, so there's nothing to install.
